Voici la r\u00e9flexion qui me vient alors que\nj\u2019ach\u00e8ve la d\u00e9couverte d\u2019une s\u00e9rie de trois productions wagn\u00e9riennes \u00e0 Bayreuth.\nOn a beau se trouver au Temple de la Wagn\u00e9rie, si les sources de ravissement ne\nmanquent pas, on aura irr\u00e9m\u00e9diablement mati\u00e8re \u00e0 redire. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Parsifal<\/em> repose surtout\nsur les voix&nbsp;: on entend un merveilleux Gurnemanz incarn\u00e9 par G\u00fcnther\nGroissb\u00f6ck tout en ligne et en d\u00e9clamation, un Parsifal interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 avec fi\u00e8vre\net puissance par Andreas Schager, et une Kundry superbe en la personne d\u2019Elena\nPankratova, relayant l\u2019ambigu\u00eft\u00e9 du personnage de p\u00e9cheresse repentante par des\ngraves s\u00e9pulcraux et des aigus incandescents. Les ch\u0153urs, dirig\u00e9s comme\ntoujours par Eberhard Friedrich, sont si miraculeux&nbsp;que la seule promesse\nde les entendre justifierait un p\u00e8lerinage \u00e0 Bayreuth. Et puis il y a l\u2019orchestre,\ndirig\u00e9 excellemment par le coloriste Semyon Bychkov. Tous les indicateurs\nseraient au vert s\u2019il n\u2019y avait pas eu la mise en sc\u00e8ne transposant l\u2019action \u00e0\nl\u2019\u00e9poque contemporaine au c\u0153ur d\u2019une zone de conflit, chez les chr\u00e9tiens du\nMoyen-Orient. Ce parti-pris coh\u00e9rent mais peu enthousiasmant, devient carr\u00e9ment\nprobl\u00e9matique lorsque le 2e acte flirte avec l\u2019islamophobie. Le festival sc\u00e9nique\nsacr\u00e9 de Wagner m\u00e9rite mieux qu\u2019une telle stigmatisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Tristan und Isolde<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>16 ao\u00fbt 2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stefan Vinke (Tristan), Petra Lang\n(Isolde), Georg Zeppenfeld (Marke), Greer Grimsley (Kurwenal), Raimund Nolte\n(Melot), Christa Mayer (Brang\u00e4ne), Katharina Wagner (mise en sc\u00e8ne), Thomas\nKaiser (costumes), Reinhard Traub (lumi\u00e8re), Orchestre du Festival de Bayreuth,\nChristian Thielemann (direction musicale)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Toute aussi critiquable\nest la vision de <em>Tristan <\/em>par Katharina\nWagner. Tout y est noir&nbsp;\u2013 logique puisque les deux h\u00e9ros appellent sans\narr\u00eat la nuit de leurs v\u0153ux. Mais ce n\u2019est pas parce qu\u2019on s\u2019appelle Wagner\nqu\u2019on peut briser ainsi la plus belle histoire d\u2019amour qui soit \u00e0 l\u2019op\u00e9ra&nbsp;:\ncomment peut-on traiter cette passion avec autant de froideur&nbsp;? Pire\nencore, comment peut-on commettre le sacril\u00e8ge ultime qui consiste \u00e0 changer la\nfin de l\u2019\u0153uvre, cette fin sublime qui proclame l\u2019union des amants dans la mort,\net que voil\u00e0 foul\u00e9e aux pieds lorsqu\u2019Isolde, bien vivante, est tra\u00een\u00e9e hors\nsc\u00e8ne par Marke \u00e0 l\u2019issue de sa derni\u00e8re note&nbsp;? Heureusement qu\u2019il y a l\u2019orchestre\ndirig\u00e9 par Christian Thielemann, livrant la version la plus intense et\n\u00e9mouvante que je connaisse de cette \u0153uvre. Entendue dans l\u2019acoustique unique du\nFestspielhaus, cela donne l\u2019une des exp\u00e9riences les plus inoubliables que peut\nvivre un amateur de musique. Sans compter que les voix amples et chaleureuses\ndes r\u00f4les titre incarn\u00e9s par Stefan Vinke et Petra Lang s\u2019int\u00e8grent\nparfaitement \u00e0 ce merveilleux bain musical dont on aimerait ne jamais avoir \u00e0\nsortir. Vraiment, cette production gagne \u00e0 \u00eatre \u00e9cout\u00e9e les yeux ferm\u00e9s&nbsp;;\ngageons qu\u2019elle aura un beau succ\u00e8s au disque&nbsp;!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Tannh\u00e4user<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>17 ao\u00fbt 2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stephen Milling (Hermann, Landgraf\nvon Th\u00fcringen), Stephen Gould (Tannh\u00e4user), Markus Eiche (Wolfram von\nEschenbach), Lise Davidsen (Elisabeth), Elena Zhidkova (Venus),&nbsp; Tobias Kratzer (mise en sc\u00e8ne), Rainer\nSellmaier (costumes), Manuel Braun (vid\u00e9o), Reinhard Traub (lumi\u00e8re), Orchestre\ndu Festival de Bayreuth, Valery Gergiev (direction musicale)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rouvrons grands\nles yeux pour la derni\u00e8re soir\u00e9e, consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 <em>Tannh\u00e4user,<\/em> dont la mise en sc\u00e8ne par Tobias Kratzer est d\u2019une\nadmirable cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9, int\u00e9grant aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s d\u2019une V\u00e9nus libertaire un drag-queen noir nomm\u00e9\nLe G\u00e2teau Chocolat et le nain Oskar, l\u2019enfant qui refuse de grandir du <em>Tambour\n<\/em>de G\u00fcnther Grass, et jouant avec humour avec l\u2019id\u00e9e de th\u00e9\u00e2tre dans le\nth\u00e9\u00e2tre. Ajoutons au cr\u00e9dit de cette production une distribution vocale\nquasiment id\u00e9ale. Mention sp\u00e9ciale \u00e0 Lise Davidsen, admirable Elisabeth&nbsp;alliant\npuissance et puret\u00e9 lumineuse. \u00c0 ses c\u00f4t\u00e9s, Stephen Gould campe un Tannh\u00e4user solide\net nuanc\u00e9, et Markus Eiche un Wolfram \u00e9l\u00e9gant et po\u00e9tique. Tous recevront une\njuste ovation du public, tandis qu\u2019\u00e0 Valery Gergiev revient\nl\u2019honneur de s\u2019attirer le toll\u00e9 le plus nourri de la soir\u00e9e. Il faut dire que\nle chef sert une version sage et sans int\u00e9r\u00eat de l\u2019\u0153uvre, ce qui est d\u2019autant\nplus d\u00e9cevant qu\u2019il est aux antipodes de celle propos\u00e9e sur sc\u00e8ne. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vraiment, qu\u2019il\nest difficile de concevoir le parfait spectacle d\u2019op\u00e9ra&nbsp;!
