Sa participation au film culte de Jean-Jacques Beinex <em>Diva<\/em>, elle y entonnait l\u2019ai bouleversant de <em>La<\/em> <em>Wally<\/em> de Catalani. Une bande originale <a href=\"https:\/\/accent4.com\/preprod\/podcast\/carte-blanche-a-vladimir-cosma\/\">compos\u00e9e par Vladimir COSMA<\/a>. N\u00e9e en 1949 \u00e0 Philadelphie, elle s\u2019est \u00e9teinte \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 75 ans, apr\u00e8s une carri\u00e8re lyrique classique et plut\u00f4t discr\u00e8te.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A noter, elle avait interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 <em>La Wally<\/em> lors de la premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition de la Symphonie des deux rives \u00e0 Strasbourg en 2005,\u00a0 \u00e0 l\u2019occasion de la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration des 150 ans de l\u2019Orchestre philharmonique de Strasbourg.<br>Revenue <strong>\u00e0 Strasbourg quelques ann\u00e9es plus tard sur la sc\u00e8ne du PMC<\/strong>, Jean-Jacques Beinex lui avait fait la surprise de la rejoindre sur sc\u00e8ne. Elle est revenue sur le Vieux Continent pour interpr\u00e9ter le r\u00f4le de Musetta dans La Boh\u00e8me \u00e0 l\u2019Op\u00e9ra de Paris, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Kiri Te Kanawa dans le r\u00f4le de Mimi, de Giacomo Aragal et de Placido Domingo, en 1979 et 1980. Elle avait \u00e9galement enregistr\u00e9 un album de chansons de Gershwin, un autre de n\u00e9gro spirituals.
